Description

Nitrogenous compounds (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) are considered as major contaminants in aquaculture. Toxic effects from their presence in the water include impairment of physiological parameters factors such as growth rate, oxygen consumption and disease resistance in fish/shrimp. Ponder is in fact a natural zeolite, able to remove ammonium and ammonium nitrogen from pond water. Ponder zeolite has large pore space and has many applications such as toxic gas absorption, off odor control and water filtration in aquatic pond.

Dosages and Administration:

During pond preparation: 20-25kg/acre

During culture period: 15-20kg/acre (4-5 water depth)

Spread all over the pond during sunlight. Hence, best to use early in morning (9:00 am -10:00 am).

Storage and Caution: Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Also, keep all medicines out of reach of children.
